FormFactor Appoints First Engineering Fellow

Gaetan Mathieu, Company’s second employee, elevated in recognition of technical contributions and excellence
LIVERMORE, Calif. – July 7, 2005 – FormFactor, Inc. (Nasdaq: FORM) today announced the promotion of Gaetan Mathieu, vice president of special projects, to the position of Engineering Fellow. The promotion recognizes Mr. Mathieu’s extraordinary technical contributions to the Company’s wafer-level test and wafer probe card technologies.
“The Engineering Fellow position is reserved for those engineers who have made significant and continuing contributions at the highest technical level to FormFactor’s technology,” said Igor Khandros, FormFactor’s CEO and Founder. “Gaetan joined us at a time when the FormFactor of today was merely a vision, and he has been instrumental to our innovation and technology leadership.”
“Gaetan is an exceptional engineer who has time and again proven his ability to technically engage throughout the life cycle of FormFactor products, from innovation to market,” added Ben Eldridge, FormFactor’s CTO. “He has been a key contributor to the development of FormFactor’s proprietary technologies, including its MicroSpring® contact technology.”
Mr. Mathieu, an IC packaging engineer, joined FormFactor in 1993 as its second employee and is a named inventor on 142 issued FormFactor U.S. and foreign patents. He is the first FormFactor employee elevated to the newly created Engineering Fellow position.
