LIVERMORE, Calif. – July 28, 2003 – FormFactor, Inc. (Nasdaq: FORM) today announced the appointment of Thomas J. Campbell to the company’s board of directors. As the fifth outside director on the company’s six-member board, Campbell strengthens FormFactor’s policy of board independence.

Campbell has served as Dean of the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley since August 2002. Campbell, who was a professor of law at Stanford University from 1983 to 2002, was a member of the U.S. Congress from 1989 to 1993 and from 1995 to 2001, and a California State Senator from 1993 to 1995. He also served as Director of the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition from 1981 to 1983. Campbell currently serves on the boards of various non-public organizations and is a public member of the Board of Trustees of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Campbell holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago, where he also earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics, and a J.D. from Harvard University.
