FormFactor Opens Sales, Service and Design Center in Taiwan

Customer Needs Drive Transition to Stronger Worldwide Integration; Taiwan Presence Advances Company’s Long-term Global Strategy
LIVERMORE, Calif. – July 20, 2005 –FormFactor, Inc. (Nasdaq: FORM), a leading provider of advanced wafer probe cards, today announced the opening of its Taiwan Sales, Service and Design Center. The growing complexity of semiconductor devices mandate increasingly customized wafer probe card solutions. FormFactor’s new Sales, Service and Design Center will give Taiwanese customers a direct link to the wafer probe card manufacturer in response to the increasing expectations for high product availability and provide seamless integration with FormFactor’s global infrastructure.

The decision to establish a strong local presence in Taiwan is part of FormFactor’s long- term strategy to better serve its customers with direct operations worldwide. The local operations will enable shorter cycle times and faster response to customers through a global operation that integrates design and manufacturing with customers’ needs. The company’s decision to open its Taiwan facility follows similar historical moves to direct operations in Japan and Korea. Spirox Corporation will continue to be the sole independent distributor of FormFactor wafer probe cards in the Peoples Republic of China, Philippines and Singapore.
